Mariagrazia Lauricella

President

Mariagrazia is the founder and President of Humanity Del Sol. She began her journey in the development industry at a young age. Her love of travel and culture led her to become a social entrepreneur and  in 2012 Humanity Del Sol was born. She is dedicated to helping change the lives of high trauma orphans through mentorship, livelihood education and alternative therapies.

She is also the owner of Humanity CO, a company that creates and produces high-quality, exclusive travel experiences. Each experience grants 15 - 80% of the proceeds to the Humanity Del Sol mission. Mariagrazia sees a world where culture, art, food and wine intersect beautifully with helping of the greater humanity. Her mission is a clear one from God Isaiah 61:4

She is Sicilian-born, with roots that stretch far into Italy’s history. She is a self-proclaimed, “travel addict” and has checked off ‘travel around the globe’ from her bucket list. Greatest of all she is a servant of God; she works hard to love and serve others with integrity, transparency, and love. 

Roxanne Connor

Vice President

Roxanne Connor, Vice President,  owned and operated Interiors By Roxanne for over 14 years and she continues to assist friends and family with their interior needs. 

She has traveled twice to work in the field with the Humanity children in Mendoza, Argentina. She also lends her interior design background to help elevate fundraisers and other events for the organization.  

Roxanne is a proud mom to one son. She always wanted more children and now realizes that she was meant to help many children along with being a loving mother. She is a big sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program for over six years. She and her little won Big and Little of the year for BBBS of Tampa Bay in 2017. For more than 25 years she has been a mentor and volunteer in Pinellas County schools. She currently sits on the board of the Safety Harbor Kiwanis and Board of Trustees for Kiwanis Florida Foundation. Roxanne is a member of the Patient Advisory Committee for Mease Countryside Hospital. Roxanne serves on the Suncoast Hospice Ball Committee for the Suncoast Hospice Foundation. 

Roxanne Connor was born in Newark, New Jersey. She moved to Florida when she was 12 years old and currently resides in Safety Harbor, Florida. 

Joanne Collins

Joan Collins, is a Registered Nurse and a Manager of Outpatient Surgery Centers. Her passion for Humanity Del Sol is inspired by the adoptions of her grandfather and two niecess. She traveled to Argentina and saw first hand the needs and opportunities. 

She holds a BS in Business from the University of Alabama and past experience managing million dollar budgets.  Her current passions include volunteering on the rescue team for Clearwater Marine Aquarium, standup paddle boarding, reading, gardening, and traveling domestically and internationally.

Daniel Divney

Daniel Divney, Chief Technology, has worked within the fastest growing non venture backed online company in the world. He specializes in helping small business growth with a value focus for the consumer.  As a self-proclaimed sales funnel nerd, Daniel can add value and enhance revenue streams for businesses in any stage of development.  

Daniel who first engaged with HDS as a part time volunteer. After later visiting Argentina and becoming baptized in the holy spirit.

Now focused on God’s will for HDS. He is passionate about serving God doing through Humanity Del Sol, so that nations can be filled with the immeasurable fullness of God and His everlasting fountain of love.

Krista Parker

Krista Parker, CHDA, CRC is a Senior Managing Consultant in the Health Analytics practice at BRG where she specializes in providing forensic investigation, dispute resolution, compliance and data analysis services to organizations and their legal counsel.

She holds a BSBA from Shippensburg University. She is a wish granter with the Make-A-Wish. Krista is from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and now resides in Tampa, Florida. Her current passions include travel, scuba diving, music, and spending time. with her family.

Melanie Hicks

Head of NGO

Dr. Hicks is a coach and consultant with more than two decades of experience working with companies and executives in the areas of professional growth, career change, strategic planning, employee engagement and organizational culture.

She has worked with more than 100 clients over the course of her career including small to midsized companies, education institutions, nonprofit organizations, executives and entrepreneurs.

Using her custom 3E Method of Change© along with her unique style of group facilitation, she creates collaborative future strategies that bring actions congruent with values and purpose.

Matias Beneite 

Executive Director

Matias Beneite was born in the department of San Martín, Mendoza. He currently resides in the City of Palmira, San Martín Mendoza, where he is happily married. Matías is studying his last year of the Public Accountant Career at the Juan Agustín Maza University. 

He has been trained in the Institute for Theological Education by extension. He works in a Special Capacity Transport company, where he performs administrative tasks and transfers. In relation to ministerial performance, since his adolescence he has been passionate and called to serve young people. Today he is leading with his wife, the Ministry of Adolescents and Youth of the Church Jesucristo Plenitud de Vida, called Followers, providing counseling, training for leaders, educational workshops in schools, conducting evangelistic events for adolescence and childhood, camps and weekly youth meetings.

Onier Vinareale

Dr. Onier Villarreal holds a mechanical engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  He completed his medical training in the University of Puerto Rico and did his post-graduate fellowship in trauma and surgical critical care at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center associated to the University of Maryland, in Baltimore, MD. Additionally, he completed an MBA at Johns Hopkins University. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Critical Care and Neurocritical Care.  He pursued a career as a physician executive and served as executive vice-president for EmCare's West Florida Division.  Since 2017 he serves as chief executive officer for Innovitas Healthcare Solutions, company he co-founded and is focused on the improvement of all aspects of healthcare in the communities they serve. 

He currently serves as an Air Force lieutenant colonel and flight surgeon for the 927th Air Refueling Wing at MacDill, AFB. Additionally, he volunteers as medical director of the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and is co-medical director for Citrus County Fire Rescue.  He enjoys a good bottle of wine and is happily married with 4 amazing children!

Jermaine Middleton

Head of NGO

Jermaine was first introduced to Humanity Del Sol while on a mountaineering expedition Mendoza, Argentina. Like the other members of the Humanity team, he immediately fell in love with the amazing children in Argentina and was broken hearted by some of their life stories. From that moment on, Jermaine has sought ways to support Humanity Del Sol, and partner with them in their mission to rebuild lives and communities.

He has an extensive volunteering history in a variety of roles such as, youth leader, child mentor, to international mission trip leader. He combines his love for youth and serving the underprivileged, with real world experience to best serve those in need. 

Jermaine received his B.A. in Business Management from Kennesaw State University and holds a Master’s in International Business from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain. His education and background in business lead to him to see businesses as essential organizations in driving positive change in our world. 

Francesca Lauricella

Community Coordinator and advocate

Francesca Lauricella was born and raised in New York City. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at St. Joseph’s College and will start a Master’s in Social Work Degree in the fall at Fordham University.

Her immediate goal is to become a Clinical Social Worker specialized in child trauma and family issues. Currently working Part Time as a bookkeeper  in a Construction Firm. She loves to travel and paint.
